Matthias Stümcke

Matthias Stümcke is global strategic marketing director for Dow Automotive based in Schwalbach, Germany. Stümcke joined Dow in 1989 in Frankfurt, Germany, as account manager for Films and Polyethylene. He moved to Horgen, Switzerland, in 1993 when he was appointed marketing manager for Epoxy Products, Europe. In 1995, he relocated to London and became regional commercial manager for Polyurethanes, UK/Ireland and Nordic. In 1996, Stümcke returned to Horgen as product marketing manager for Polystyrene, Europe, and in 2000 was appointed commercial director for Polyurethanes, Europe. He moved to Shanghai, China, in 2004 to assume the role of commercial director for Performance and Basic Chemicals for Dow in Asia-Pacific. Stümcke holds a master's degree in economic science from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany.
