BETAMATE structural adhesives replace welds and mechanical fasteners and reduce fatigue and failure commonly found around spot welds and fasteners. BETAMATE technology is used in the earliest stage in body design to make it stiffer, safer, lighter and better crash resistant.

BETAMATE 73705 is one-part moisture curing polyurethane trim adhesive. It is formulated to provide adhesion to electrogalvanized steel, phosphate steel, E-coated steel, and trim materials used in headliner systems.

Application: BETAMATE 73705 trim adhesive was developed for bonding structural headliner systems to outer roof panels. It was optimized to provide damping and reinforcing for this application.

Application Methods: BETAMATE 73705 can be dispensed manually or robotically. A pumping system equipped with a follower plate is recommended.
