Dow Automotive is pleased to announce that Alexander (Sander) van Veen has been named Vice President, Glass and Plastic Bonding. Van Veen will be responsible for all profit/loss issues related to glass and plastic bonding, including bulk and small packaging for Dow Automotive on a global basis. Dow Automotive is the world's largest supplier of glass bonding solutions, and van Veen will support continued innovation and growth of this important application area.

Van Veen joined The Dow Chemical Company in 1988 as an engineer for the Styron™ and Engineering Thermoplastics business. Subsequently, he has held a variety of positions in sales, marketing and business operations. Most recently, he was the European Market Development Manager for Dow plastics, based in Horgen, Switzerland.

A native of The Netherlands, van Veen is 43 years old and holds a Masters Degree in Material Science from the University of Delft. He is based near Frankfurt, in Dow Automotive's Schwalbach, Germany facility.
