Dow Automotive is pleased to announce that Grant Fisher has been named Vice President, European Sales and Sales Service. The announcement was made by George Hamilton, President, Dow Automotive.

In this role, Fisher will be responsible for leading Dow Automotive's Sales and Sales Service organizations in Europe. This will include all OEM, Tier supplier and Aftermarket sales as well as responsibility for application development engineering, program management and customer service. "Dow Automotive is committed to affirming its position as a leading player in the automotive business," Fisher states, adding, "I am looking forward to strengthening ties with our current customer base as well as to developing and implementing solutions that create value for our customers."

Fisher has been with The Dow Chemical Company since 1984 where he began as an engineer for the Polyurethanes Systems business. Subsequently, he has held a variety of positions in sales, marketing and business operations. Most recently, he was the Engineering Plastics product director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in Horgen, Switzerland.

A native of South Africa, Fisher is 47 years old and holds a Bachelors Degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of South Africa, and a Marketing Management diploma from Wits Business School in Johannesburg. He is based near Frankfurt, in Dow Automotive's Schwalbach, Germany facility.
