Dow Automotive has introduced a solution for cost effective production of LGF-PP applications: 60% long glass fibre reinforced PP concentrates, diluted with natural PP.  This solution offers moulders more production flexibility at reduced costs. In addition, supply chain complexity can be reduced.

Traditionally, LGF PP is supplied in ready mixed granulate with a 20%, 30% or   40 % glass fibre content. Ready mixed granulates offer reliable product quality but are not always cost efficient. The solution offered by Dow Automotive addresses cost efficiency while maintaining reliable product quality. Dow Automotive LGF PP concentrate diluted with a Dow Automotive natural resin at the indicated dilution ratio offers the material properties required by customers.
